If Pingle is crashing after you enter your Ping.FM mobile key, you can try this workaround:

1. From a desktop web browser, go to http://ping.fm/key/ and get your full key.  Not the short 4-or-so character mobile key, but the huge thing labeled Desktop / Web Key which looks something like this:  “db0137fac819efd7bee1d705746e1312-aaa7166269″.
2. On your iPhone, enter the main “Settings” application.  Scroll down until you find Pingle, and click on that.
3. At the bottom of the Pingle settings page, click “Maintenance”.
4. Under Maintenance, click “Debug”
5. Get a cup of coffee, because you’re about to spend a few minutes typing.
6. At the top of the screen, there’s a text field labeled “Ping.FM App Key”.  In that field, type in the key you found in Step 1.

That should allow Pingle to skip the entire “Enter your mobile key” screen and get on with the business of Pingling.
